note to self - 2012:

1) exercise at least once a week

2) when not going to work, avoid bringing hp out

3) do not use laptop once a week

4) no eating Mac/KFC

5) love thy friends & family

going back to the basics, just like how the human race survived before all these fanciful gadgets came up and unwittingly diminish our primal cognition to trust our instincts.

undergraduate

and hence concludes my undergraduate life in NUS.

sem 2 has been a jolly ride, never have i enjoyed school that much (except for boring fyp). Exams were good, finally a sweet conclusion for 1 out of 8 semesters. Currently voting for the first time in the General Elections and heading to Cambodia for Expeditions thereafter. Amidst the many tv series - the big bang theory, HIMYM, House M.D. - that accompanied me, there were many emotional encounters.

when life was good, life WAS good; going on a day trip to JB for fantastic A&W, chingay, DP10/11, various B4 BBQs, B4 Ball, food trips all over singapore, plain slacking and true learning.

however, there were many indifferent moments such as IHG treble champions, Merit Award Boards, Expeditions and SP Bash. No insane moments, diminishing number of friends and uncertainty of the future.

There were many discussions regarding DHA - dreams, hopes and aspirations. Envy is when you realize that many of your friends have plans and goals for their future and feel happy for them. Plenty of stories telling the horrid tales of interviews and i am still so sheltered. To let go of the best times in uni as a youth is indeed difficult. Life just goes on... seeking the path in this journey is like finding needle in a haystack, but let's persevere and do our best!

ultimately, i believed i have lived in the moment and maximized enjoyment as advised. time to move on to the next stage in life =)

final school holiday

fables was magnificent as usual.

recce trip was like a business trip; however the awesome feeling of being there again triumphs

bonding trip was infinitely memorable, glad at my choice for its success!

results are out. dropped to 3rd class, but still got hope to pull to 2nd lower. last stretch, final mile, all the way!

after a long hiatus, there's so much to tell!

countless ippudo visits to satisfy random ramen cravings. had a few heartwarming steamboat sessions. teochew porridge buffet at NUSS guild house. tonkichi at tampines with S101. COVA at paragon for andrew's birthday. supper at blk85 with witono. finally tasted the legendary buffalo wings at seletar. 2 chefs for desmond's birthday. random splurging on mao shan wang.

chillax drinks at A4. crazy DP bash at butter. attended huan chye's wedding. bought a new squash racket. got my new macbook pro. went for a highly experiential training camp at lim chu kang farm. got expeditions into full swing; the highlight being a fulfilling VS1. IHG trainings & DP dance practices. first virgin satisfactory experience.

ONE PIECE is extremelyorgasmic, always getting me excited at every page. followed by fairy tail, naruto and bleach. fringe seasons 1 & 2 were exceptional, and now How i met your mother is a relaxing relief to the mundane study life.

this year will be a great year. shedding the tears of joy winning rag. throwing face to achieve B Blk talent champions for 4 consecutive years! next stop: IHG.

died during midterms. slogging throughout this tough sem of 26MCs. of FYP presentations and other classes. hardwork gogogo!

crazy whacky time at australia. thanks andy, zzy & clara for the best roadtrip ever! hahndoff, victor harbour, glenelg, great ocean road and glorious food, not forgetting the meetup with ralph! the weather was perfect, company was perfect, food was perfect, scenery was perfect. only scare: the mad rush to catch the flight back to singapore.

last year last chance

and 7 weeks of work comes to an end. working in HQ has fixed hours, however the jobscope is definitely not my cup of tea. however, all that matters now is i get my money at the end of the day.

An arduous journey with a matching outcome. Sweeping all 4 shields for rag, Eusoff has come a long way from champions to tears of defeat and rising back up again. Hello Chingay!

The first freshman bash started out boring, but i brought the party and god knows what happen after my second bottle of chivas.

Have been giving my 200% to expeditions; it is my pleasure to work with 2 great like-minded people. =)

Spontaneous and carefree at its best. the trip to ippudo tao was more than worth it. tao kuro simply sealed it.

Looking forward to the roadtrip in Adelaide/Melbourne. Oh the joy of being a year 4!

Besides FYP, i'm dedicating my youthfulness to a myriad of activities befitting the finale of an awesome varsity life!

the aftermath

backpacking to vietnam was truly an eye-opener.
caodaism, chuchi tunnels, mekong river life, french cuisine, motorbike convoy.

and then, japan was just sex.
money well spent, the best was enjoyed.
the holiday was complete.
