endurance

after a series of interesting events, i'm finally back in the navy with my new ship RSS Endurance. looking forward to work in my new environment =) even though my first day was one of the most "interesting" experience, i just hope for the best in future.

well, i've collected my new wife, my one and only wilier. and here she is...













what a feast for the eyes, ain't it! ok.. apart from that, i had my first ever drunk until don't know what's going on experience. that was all thanks to my command for giving the imperial edict. i can't really complain because chris treated me to a korean bbq lunch, and they opened the CANON at the sat night drinking session with the officers. having spent so much, i can only comply. haha

that happened just 2 days before my exams, which i was seriously frightened of. having slacked the entire sem, i had no idea how i was going to survive the exams. the papers proved to be killers, and i have never ever felt so taken aback after having sat for the papers. it was THAT BAD, and i can only pray right now. the entire stretch proved to be filled with anxiety, and for the first time in 3 months, i actually sat down and studied for all my papers, but it turned out to be useless too. just hope don't kena LD *crosses fingers*

sad events aside, i celebrated zzy and ralph's birthday with the entire gang. it was just quality time spent with them on their 21st, and i'm glad they all enjoyed it. dragon gate dim sum buffet lunch for zzy, and garuda padang dinner for ralph. adults already, just feel happy for them.

a funny incident which occured was when i was taking the NE line, there was a guy who was just singing out loud in the carriage with no regards to his surroundings, humming out loud the preludes and enacting the entire song, and this went on for 3 stops. when he finally left, there were mixed reactions, some clapping while i just giggled.

met edwin, marcus and weiding one fine day after my exams, knowing that they're doing well and i'll be seeing them in NUS next year. finally, more familiar friends... but i'll still hang out with joseph, jason and keming, where we enjoy our meals together. haha! bukit timah market after our shitty papers. food settles all unhappiness.

lastly, had a party at chris house, with me and his friends being guinea pigs for the new bar he's gonna open. the drinks were great, the tapaz to accompany it was fantastic, i'm sure it'll be the next best place to hang out. zsofi's tapas bar, opening mid july, i'll definitely bring my friends there to chill.
