repentment and gratitude

2 consecutive days --- 2 celebrations, seperate and lasting. compare and contrast; the concerts were both great, and met quite alot of friends back at tms too. the main showcase, however, was the Teacher. a person who dedicates him/herself to being the messenger of knowledge - such a huge responsibility lies on their shoulders. i thought the festive mood was to encourage the appreciation of their existance, and not the many apologetic words which should be immediately corrected and not wait till now. the true meaning of their presence is progressively fading, as some simply forget their roots. anyway, this day is also a reunion of old friends who would naturally hang out thereafter. so for the past 2 days: play, play, play play play. what to do? =)

night rain

a whole new experience. my legs aren't tired, the sounds of droplets trickling down the sea together with the swoshing of the waves are simply melodic. empty. such tranquility is reverred and enjoyed maxxed, the after effects of the rain and nature. brilliant.

finishing da vinci's code in 2 days, the clues given were far to simple, for my intellect was able to solve the few which were within my knowledge. i wonder who's the real master of double meaning? heh

mystical experience

oh my god! friday night was totally awesome. it was a short time yea, but definitely well deserved. first, we met up with alvin at the coffeeshop, that guy is one cool good-looking guy. so he came with his chopper-like harley davidson, his modelling look and sunglasses. what followed after that was attention, not to rayner and me, but to him and the chopper. i would dare say it is the only original chopper with a big handlebar coming directly from the USA. it was funny how we cycle past and eyes were just trailing us like some superstars. so alvin was a superstar, or he did exude such an aura. we went to enjoy the late afternoon air at bedok jetty, and heads kept turning like nobody's business. heh. boy do i miss that place...

after that, we cycled to the other end of bedok jetty, and back. in the journey, many people commented that alvin's bike was beautiful, and asked where'd he got it and how much. yes it was rare, and i guess that 650 was well-spent. we stopped over at mac and lagoon, but the highlight was when we returned to the jetty about 8.30pm. the breeze was stronger than ever, and i was more than happy to embrace it. setting myself into a state of euphoria, the chemistry p3 mock exam the next morning doesn't seem to bother me anymore. that night was especially beautiful, with the clouds clearing to show its full moon. and brightly it sure did shine, and it was as if it paved a streak of majestic lighted pathway on the tides which enticed one to walk upon. what better way to enjoy it than to literally open arms wide and letting the wind blow at my face. rayner commented that my hair was following the wind's direction, and that was my original intention. =) No wonder bedok jetty is the BEST place in the whole wide world. words like stress and those describing negative emotions disappeared from my dictionary as relaxation was at point blank.

that wasn't all, the three of us made friends with the regulars at bedok jetty, and even had the honour of trying out their bikes. there's this one guy, John, who owns a 7k bike. OMG!!! when i felt it, my heart melted together with the effect of stroke on my mouth. litespeed titanium frame, avid breaks, xtr shifters, crank arms, front and rear d's, fox forx suspension, thompson sitpost, sdg saddle, carbon handlebar and hugi hubs. totally steam!! oh well, next time some bike as great or greater than that would be mine... someday, it will. wahahaha! anyway, i met jerry who was also this cool guy with long hair, and when he borrowed alvin's bike to ride and there he was singing something like 'cruising on the highway', it was the epitome of a US punk. i also met one of mjc's ex-security guard, who made some remarks about the OM. let me quote from russell peters, "i'm not gonna tell you who, but i think you know him very well". wahahahaha! next time, i might go fishing at bedok jetty... ... oh yar, i almost forgot, the next day got chemistry mock exam. but guess what, i didn't study. lol. i wouldn't give such a fruitful experience at east coast a miss for anything else.

celebrations

awesome. totally awesome. the spotlights which catch the particles of sparks in the air in its straight line of travel contrasted the beautiful night sky, also creating a fading effect tingling in midair, pumping one's adrenaline and leaving one asking for more. precious moments such as these, short lived and expensive, but definitely contented. a different light, too, it was, portraying an image resembling that of a magician with sequins on his black coat as to the night sky. such coincidence, the planets from outerspace were celebrating with us too, reflecting light and presenting the significance of our national flag. the night was still young, as i proceeded on various bus rides and finished the comic. before that, there was a string of comical events which happened during the day...

ordered burger king and we seated ourselves comfortably at the green sector. then came the diversion of attention to the magnificent F-16s display with skilled technique. i hope those 2 people are alright, where is the welfare check?!? haiz... the heCILOPter was cool though, heh. then came the fantastic tanks which proudly acknowledge our military prowess. and there was the inspection, "does my hair look alright?" lol... oh well =)

thanks to an encourager, i have been playing the past 5 days. absolutely no work done! completed heroes 4 campaign, chiong 8 books of rave, and went out. anyway, i think buses are cool to race with, and i won bus 12 at the "self-proclaimed" (hee) finishing line at bedok south all the way from pasir ris. it was a ferocious battle; a car which was almost knocked down by me and the various traffic lights where the bus driver and i played stare. there was no clear breakthrough, as we continued to overtake each other persistently in a race against time. finally, there was an opening at the final stretch and pouncing on the opportunity, i came in victorious with the scott comp USA. wahahaha! buses are slow these days... but there were some after effects which confined me in my bed. lol

countdown

in less than 2 weeks, 20+ books of comic of rave have been covered. thanks brandon! so i'm slacking off, while people are mugging away lah... these days are simple: read comic, eat, watch tv, stare at study materials, puts them away, back to the comics and hit the bed. the LAST MAN book 5 was an absolute stunner! thanks zhiyang and ralph, and i finished it within 2 periods. =)

oh well, there are no more S paper lessons already! yay! it'll be quite shameful if we were to score higher than the normal papers... heh. we'll see, we'll see yea... anyway, i was just at bedok jetty for 10 mins sometime this past week, but the manmade-pollution intercepted the clear air molecules, forming strong bonds and replacing Fe in haemoglobin in an irreversible reaction, reducing the amount of haemoglobins available for O2. O2 ligands cannot replace the stronger CO ligands, and i almost died of oxygen starvation! there was a disgusting feeling of sick regurgitation, but the calmness of the night and the gentle breeze touched my mental stability. embrace.

school is now all about slacking and learning new disgustingly icy lame jokes. go to maths revision lecture and slack, tutorial also slack. gp is mostly own time own target, pe is gay, leaving the only subject which is 482B. the free periods are normally for comic reading or filling of stomachs. darn, and the lameshit which is quotidian, the famous line of "orh, i know already! eh no, shit... oh yar hor" *flicks left part of hair using four fingers*

as only afew weeks are left, i guess i will miss hanging out with sutris, going toilet with khenglong, brandon and edwin's gayness, wei ren's singing, junjie and weiding's company and eugene's jokes and journey home. as the sand gets finer in that tiny structure, precious moments are left for us to grasp; or forever begone. cherish.
